Terms And Conditions
The policy of The Oakwood Centre is to maintain a reasonable rate of charges. To achieve this, it is necessary for the building to be used efficiently. For this reason, the following scale of cancellation charges will apply to all confirmed bookings.

Cancellation of Booking
Cancellation notified with more than one month's notice - 10% of total hire charge.

Cancellation notified with less than one month's notice - 20% of total hire charge.

Cancellation notified with less than 3 weekday's notice - 75% of total hire charge.

Cancellation notified with less than one day' notice - 100% of total hire charge.

Conditions of Booking
Provisional bookings will be held for up to 14 days

The Oakwood Centre Ltd or its staff cannot accept responsibility for any valuables or property that may be lost or stolen during the event unless handed over for safe keeping.

The client must ensure that any equipment brought into the centre is approved by the Health and Safety at Work Acts and carry a P.A.T. test label. The Oakwood Centre Ltd reserves the right to refuse permission for own equipment to be used with the building. All equipment is brought onto the premises at the client's own risk.

The use of large electrical items must be notified in writing at least two weeks prior to the event and may incur a usage and connection charge.

The Oakwood Centre Ltd cannot be held responsible for failing to provide all or part, of the service, due to reasons beyond its control. These would include but not be limited to:- flood, storm, fire, equipment failure and 'acts of God'.
